INCLUSION AND SUSTAINABILITY

RECOGNIZE YOURSELF IN THE OTHER

THE RICHNESS OF DIVERSITY

What makes difference a problem is distance. When we get closer, we get to know and see the other person, making us accessible. Differences serve as possibilities for innovation.

SUPPORT AND INCLUDE

Caring for others and the environment is one of the fundamental pillars of the healthiest companies to work for, as sustainability goes beyond inclusion and recycling to become a culture that expands the company's walls and reaches an entire community.

Understanding that diversity is what makes up a society is essential for good social and professional integration. Everyone has skills and that is what we have to focus on.

Chair - Speaking without taboos!

  Presentation duration: 1h30

Currently, the inclusion of people with disabilities is a fact/law and has been generating complexities as a “side effect” of changes and paradigm shifts.

“CADEIRA – FALANDO SEM TABOO” is a performance created and developed by the artist Estela Lapponi based on her personal experiences and on the observation of situations involving other people with whom she has lived. It brings up the need to talk about disability in an open, direct and affectionate way, in order to extinguish the taboo on the subject. It opens up a space for experience by transforming the way we look at diversity, enabling egalitarian encounters and promoting closer ties between people.

CHAIR is a meeting based on physical and emotional experience with the public so that they can get to know each other today so as not to be surprised tomorrow.

The lecture is led by Estela Lapponi, who has extensive artistic experience both in Brazil and abroad regarding the perception of the disabled body in our society.

GardenNow - Solo for an actor and five flowers
  Presentation duration: 1 hour | Lecture and debate duration: 1 hour

The play tells the story of a few hours in the life of a man who, imprisoned in his apartment/garden, discusses aspects of everyday life with his flowers. In the routine task of watering, fertilizing and pruning his plants, the gardener finds a safe and comfortable space to reflect on the relationship between man and nature and between man and man himself. A character with disturbing and neurotic traits, his anguish and tireless chatter allow the flowers to come to life and participate in a naturally comical debate. It is in light of this personality that the text's title has a sound similar to the name of the drug Gardenal, used to treat neurological conditions. For this gardener, contact with his flowers has an anxiolytic effect. When talking to the flowers, he comes across issues that are crushed by conformity, indifference and, mainly, disbelief in a possible change in the state of things, but always with a light and relaxed spirit.

After the show, participants attend a lecture and take part in a debate on topics related to the dramas experienced by the character:
• Human control over nature and its production time;
• Use and consumption of natural resources;
• Consumer relations and sustainability;
• Degradation of human nature;
• Self-esteem and social awareness;
• Influence of the media and freedom of choice;
• The quality of human relationships;
• The responsibility of “social responsibility”.
